From 7 to 8 July 2026, the 2nd General Assembly of the DISCOVER project took place in Lisbon, with the participation of PEDMEDE.
During the two-day meeting, project partners had the opportunity to review the progress achieved so far, present the latest technical developments and coordinate the next steps towards the development of innovative digital and robotic solutions for the construction and deconstruction sectors.
A key highlight of the meeting was the visit to the project’s first demonstration site building in Lisbon, where DISCOVER technologies will be demonstrated and validated under real operating conditions. The visit provided partners with valuable insight into the site’s technical characteristics, enabling them to discuss implementation requirements and connect ongoing research activities with the practical deployment of the project’s solutions.
The discussions also focused on upcoming project milestones, communication and dissemination actions, as well as collaboration with other European initiatives.
The meeting concluded with a clear roadmap for the next phase of the project and a renewed commitment to delivering innovative, sustainable, and circular solutions for the European construction sector.
