The Dissemination Event of the Erasmus+ project BIM4D took place on 19 February at PEDMEDE’s premises, bringing together industry professionals with the aim of presenting the project’s key results and exchanging experiences regarding the use of BIM in end-of-life practices of construction projects.
During the event, the main project deliverables were presented, including the training material that has been developed. The contribution of BIM4D to strengthening skills for the digital transformation of the construction sector was highlighted, supporting:
-
the alignment of education and training with labour market needs,
-
the development of practical skills,
-
the wider exploitation of project results by the educational community,
-
and policymaking for the use of BIM in end-of-life practices of construction projects.
The project is now in its final stage of completion, with the remaining activities focusing on final documentation and the dissemination of results, ensuring that they remain accessible and exploitable beyond the project’s lifetime.
