On May 27-28, PEDMEDE had the honor of hosting the 1st General Assembly Meeting of the European Horizon Discover project at the premises of TMEDE in Athens.
The partners had the opportunity to meet in person, evaluate the progress of their respective work packages, discuss critical developments, and align the next steps of the project.
This meeting was an excellent opportunity to strengthen cooperation and networking among partners by exchanging knowledge and innovative approaches, laying a solid foundation for the success of the project.
The DISCOVER project, the first HORIZON program in which PEDMEDE participates, aims to develop an autonomous, modern, and intelligent system for the identification and analysis of material and product data in existing construction projects at the end of their life cycle. This approach will provide critical data-driven information to researchers and professionals in the construction industry, making deconstruction more efficient, optimizing resource use, improving environmental footprints, and enhancing circularity in the construction sector.
The program brings together 14 partners from 8 countries.
