Interim Evaluation of Horizon 2020 launched
A public consultation has opened, launching the interim evaluation of Horizon 2020. The “biggest European Union research and innovation framework programme ever” supports the Innovation Union, a Europe 2020 flagship initiative aimed at securing Europe’s global competitiveness. The evaluation is required by the legal act that established the programme and it must be completed by 31 December 2017. FIEC will co-ordinate a response on behalf of its members, possibly in collaboration with the European Council for Construction Research Development and Innovation (ECCREDI). Initial discussions will be co-ordinated by TEC-2, the sub-commission dealing with RTD matters. The consultation is open until 15 January 2017.
