The European ConstructionBlueprint2 project, in which PEDMEDE participates, is closely linked to and directly contributes to the achievement of the objectives of the Skills Pact, supporting the green and digital transition in the construction sector through the upgrading and reskilling of human resources.
Launched in 2022 by FIEC, EFBWW, and EBC, the Pact for Skills in Construction is a key initiative under the EU Skills Agenda, promoted by the European Commission.
As a matter of fact, PEDMEDE is one of the first signatories of this Pact since the ConstructionBlueprint 1 project!
Goal & Ambition
The Pact for Skills in Construction aims to strengthen the European construction workforce through investment in vocational education and training, the development of skills and competencies, and closer collaboration between public and private partners. The ambition is clear: by 2030, at least 30% of construction workers should participate in upskilling or reskilling activities each year.
