2025 marks a milestone year for the construction sector in Greece and Europe.
Two leading institutions, PEDMEDE and FIEC (European Construction Industry Federation), jointly celebrate – 90 and 120 years respectively – of continuous contribution, institutional presence, and commitment to the sustainable development of infrastructure and technical entrepreneurship.
On May 16th, PEDMEDE had the honor of hosting in Athens the FIEC Annual General Assembly and Annual Conference, bringing together leading figures of the European construction sector. As part of this important event, the new anniversary logos were unveiled: both FIEC’s, marking its 120 years since foundation—symbolizing continuity, stability, and unity of the European construction community—and PEDMEDE’s.
As a founding and active member of FIEC, PEDMEDE proudly joins the celebration, honoring its own 90-year enduring presence in the Greek technical sector. This shared anniversary represents the culmination of a strategic and institutional alliance that has substantially contributed to policy shaping, industry representation, and the setting of common priorities.
Through FIEC’s new slogan, “Building solutions together: our mission, your future”, our common orientation is emphasized: to build solutions together, to serve our mission, and to shape the future of the sector for generations to come.
