FIEC partner of the European Vocational Skills Week 2018
The 3rd European Vocational Skills Week (EVSW), organised by the European Commission, will take place in Vienna (Austria) from 5 to 9 November 2018. Through the EVSW, which targets learners (young and adults), parents, big enterprises, SMEs, VET centres, schools, guidance services, social partners, etc. the European Commission wants to raise awareness of the wide range of opportunities available through VET, and encourage more people to participate and learn about what it has to offer.
In addition to the events to be organised by the European Commission and the Austrian presidency, national, regional and local events will take place associated with the EVSW. Any interested stakeholder can get involved and register events and activities from 1 September 2018 through to the end of the year.
FIEC is an official partner of this initiative and will organise the final conference of the Social Dialogue “VET4LEC” project, undertaken jointly with the EFBWW and co-financed by the European Commission (DG EMPL), on 6/11/2018 in Brussels.
