Digitalisation of construction is changing our industry. In the BIM SPEED project, we are working on the development of new openly accessible BIM tools, with a focus on enabling the use of BIM in renovation projects by smaller companies. These tools and eventual support for the renovation of residential buildings are being developed by the EU-funded BIM-SPEED project.
We need to know how you are using BIM. How is it used in your renovation projects? Or – is it not being used at all? What are the barriers to its use?

Maintenance requirements in future TEN-T proposal
On 10 November, a member of the European Court of Auditors (ECA) discussed a recent report on the completion of the Trans-European Transport Network (TEN-T) with the European Parliament’s Transport Committee. During the session, the ECA representative pointed out that the European Commission will include requirements regarding the maintenance of transport infrastructure in the upcoming legislative proposal which is expected in the second quarter of 2021.
