Vocational Education and Training at the heart of Europe
From 5 to 9 November 2018, the European Commission, in cooperation with the Austrian Presidency, is organising the third European Vocational Skills Week. The initiative brings together education and training providers, civil society organisations, public authorities, employers organisations, trade unions, and the broader public to raise awareness of the benefits of Vocational Education and Training (VET).
Under the motto “Discover your Talent”, thousands of young people all over Europe will have a chance to learn about training and career opportunities thanks to vocational education and training at more than 1.000 events taking place across Europe until December 2018.
Amongst these events, on 6/11/2018 the EU sectoral Social Partners for the construction industry, FIEC and the EFBWW, will organise in Brussels the final conference of their joint project “VET4LEC – Inclusive vocational education and training for low energy construction”. A final report presenting the main outcomes of this project will be translated in various EU languages and disseminated in the next weeks.
