PEDMEDE participated in the two-day transnational training held at the premises of IIPLE – Scuola Edile di Bologna, within the framework of the Erasmus+ project ET4Digital. The training brought together trainers, construction professionals, and BIM Managers from all partner countries.
The training programme included:
🔸 Presentation of the pilot Digital Twin developed for educational purposes by University of Bologna (Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna)
🔸 Technical contributions on Construction Digital Twin, BIM, lean construction, sustainability, and project scheduling.
🔸 Demonstration of the Construction Digital Twin and hands-on activities in the laboratory, supported by the active engagement of all partners.
🔸 A dedicated session on the synergies between Digital Twins and Augmented Reality.
The two days of intensive collaboration significantly contributed to advancing the project’s objectives, which focus on strengthening digital skills and developing innovative training methods essential for the digital transition of the construction sector.
