We are delighted to announce that the CaPABle Erasmus+ project has been officially recognized by the European Union as a Good Practice. This distinction highlights the project’s significant contribution to building the capacities of public authority staff in support of the green transition and the renovation of public buildings.
Through a comprehensive set of actions—including targeted training programs, innovative digital learning tools, and pilot initiatives—the CaPABle project has successfully empowered public authorities at national, regional, and local levels. Participants are now better equipped to act as agents of change in achieving both European and national climate and energy objectives.
- The project developed flexible, technology-driven training paths tailored to the specific needs of public sector professionals
- It fostered knowledge exchange, capacity building, and policy awareness in line with the EU’s sustainability goals.
- It created a lasting network of “training ambassadors” committed to driving forward the renovation wave and sustainable practices within the public sector.
As a result, CaPABle is now considered a model initiative for enhancing public sector readiness in addressing the pressing challenges of climate change and energy efficiency.
