On 7 & 8 April PEDMEDE participated in a DigiCVET project partners meeting, which took place both online and in person in Ljubljana, Slovenia.
During the meeting the training modules of the project were presented and analysed, so that the trainees could use specific tools but also be trained on the common features and application of the main digital tools available. PEDMEDE has undertaken the creation of educational material related to the digitalisation of communication in the construction industry through both the use of BIM and augmented and virtual reality.
The DigiCVET project aims to develop digital competences in order to enhance digital VET in the Construction sector as in the near future about 9 out of 10 jobs will require at least simple but also advanced digital skills and competences according to the European Commission’s newsletter “The Digital Skills Gap in Europe”.
