The European Drone4Build project, in which PEDMEDE participates has successfully completed its first Work Package 2 deliverable: the Strategic Technology Roadmap for Drone Skills in Construction.
The report explores how drone technologies are transforming the construction sector and highlights the digital and technical skills professionals will increasingly need in the future.
As the next step, the findings of the report were eviewed and validated by industry stakeholders, VET providers, drone experts, and construction in the framework of national workshops organized by the Drone4Build partners.
At the same time, project partners are also working on the Drone4Build Competency Framework, aligned with the European Digital Competence Framework, which will help shape future training programmes and support the integration of drone technologies into the construction workforce across Europe (Greece, Spain ,Italy, Germany and North Macedonia)
