The Erasmus+ GUPP programme successfully reaches its end with PEDMEDE organizing the Final Conference at its offices on 8 November.
During the conference, both the project partners and the staff of the EP-YMEPERRA Special Management Unit attended the conference and discussed the current situation regarding Green Public Procurement both at national and European level. Furthermore, the possibilities of using the results of the GUPP programme were explored in order to ensure their sustainability and to further promote Green Public Procurement practices.
GUPP outputs include a guide to Green Public Procurement in Construction Projects, the development of the relevant training programme and its host Moodle platform, and its pilot implementation. Finally, policy recommendations have been developed for promotion to stakeholders with a view to integrating Green Public Procurement in Construction Projects.
It is recalled that the GUPP project aims to upgrade the skills of stakeholders involved in public procurement processes, in particular Public Authorities, Contracting Authorities, industry representatives, public works contractors and policy makers, to promote Green Public Procurement in Construction Projects.
