Scope and Objectives:
Digi-CVET is a direct response to the changing needs in work life, where in the near future approximately 9 out of 10 jobs will require at least simple but up to advanced digital skills and competences according the factsheet/ infographic “The Digital Skills Gap in Europe” of the European Commission.
In this context, Digi-CVET project objectives are the following:
- Training for target groups and showing how digitalization can work as a driver on the labor market or within companies to attract and/or retain staff/apprentices
- Raising the appreciation of digital VET offers in particular when youngsters are concerned (working with digital instruments, extended realities)
- Development of a transversal digital understanding how to apply data processing in the use of AR e.g.
Project Results
The Digi-CVET project foresees to meet the following results and outputs:
- Appreciation of digital learning in construction (IVET)
- Introducing and demonstrating central emerging technologies in construction like AR and BIM
- Digital collaboration in construction in particular Common Data Environment (CDE) in BIM
- Digital means as an attracting / retaining factor for companies
- Communication in a digital context with special emphasis on construction specific applications
- Development of a multi-lingual and semi-customized digital platform open to add more digital VET-offers after the end of Digi-CVET
