Scope and Objectives :
The aim of the project is to bridge the skills gap and build capacity to enable civil servants from national, as well as local and regional level, to become real agents of change to achieve EU targets and national strategies for the wave of public building renovation.
The project aspires to train staff of public authorities, officials, managers, executives from national, local and regional level from sustainability related sectors to enhance their capacities in addressing the challenges of renovating the public building stock and thus enabling them to play their role as role models in the energy and climate change transition.
Expected Results :
The CaPABle project foresees the achievement of the following results:
- CaPABle Transnational competence Handbook: Development of a transnational capacity building manual to raise awareness and transfer knowledge among key stakeholders and will enhance expertise in the subject matter.
- Deployment of the CaPABle capacity building programme to provide flexible digital -based learning opportunities and provide Public Authorities from national, regional and local levels with advanced competences and capacity.
- Training Activity: Implement a pilot training programme for training ambassadors, and staff of public authorities and engage with renovation as a key driver for enabling climate change and sustainable transition behaviours.
- Organising CaPABle capacity building programme roundtables, targeted national awareness raising events and effective provision of policy recommendations.
