Its purpose is to give the European road sector a common voice and strengthen recognition of the role roads play in competitiveness, mobility and territorial cohesion. Cooperation across these activities can help bring practical experience into European policy discussions.<\/p>\n<p>The alliance\u2019s areas of focus include road investment and safety, alongside the challenges of climate resilience and decarbonisation. Circular use of materials, digitalisation, skills and innovation are also part of its scope. Kjetil Tonning, FIEC Honorary President and Chair of the FIEC-EIC <em>Task Force \u201cUkraine\u201d<\/em>, will moderate the opening session on \u201c<em>Housing Recovery 2027: Priorities, Financing &amp; Scale<\/em>\u201d, together with Lev Partskhaladze, President of the Confederation of Builders of Ukraine (CBU), FIEC\u2019s Ukrainian member federation.<\/p>\n<p>Domenico Campogrande, FIEC Director General, will moderate a panel discussion \u201c<em>Large-Scale Housing Construction: Financing, Workforce, Technology &amp; Quality<\/em>\u201d. The session will address some of the key conditions for scaling up housing construction in Ukraine, including financing and PPPs (<em>Public Private Partnerships<\/em>)\u00a0models, the shortage of skilled construction workers, industrialised construction technologies, localisation of production, compliance with Eurocodes and requirements for energy efficiency, accessibility and durability. Founded in 1946, GEBTP has grown into the recognised voice of Luxembourg\u2019s construction industry and\u00a0has made an important contribution to the European construction community.\u00a0Today, Jo\u00ebl Schons, a GEBTP board member, serves as\u00a0FIEC Vice-President and chairs FIEC\u2019s Working Group on &#8220;Housing&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"auto\" data-end=\"1006\" data-start=\"925\">Speaking at the anniversary celebration, GEBTP President Marc Giorgetti said:<\/p>\n<blockquote data-end=\"1430\" data-start=\"1008\">\n<p dir=\"auto\" data-end=\"1430\" data-start=\"1010\">\u201cWe are not simply celebrating a number on our calendar. We are celebrating a vocation \u2014 a commitment to this country that can be seen, touched and experienced in every corner. (\u2026) For 75 years, we have not just talked about building \u2014 we have built. And we have invested in people.
