The project aims to <strong>develop, test, and evaluate an innovative micro-credentialing system for green skills in the construction sector<\/strong>, making a substantial contribution to the <strong>Sustainable Green Transition<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The project, implemented by <strong>11 partners from 4 European countries (Germany, Greece, Portugal, and Spain)<\/strong>, focuses on <strong>identifying the skills needed for the future of the construction industry<\/strong>, <strong>mapping and analyzing professional profiles<\/strong>, and <strong>developing 8 pilot micro-credentials<\/strong>, which will be tested in the participating countries.<\/p>\n<p>During the event:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>European tools for skills recognition<\/strong> were presented, such as the <strong>Europass European Digital Credentials for Learning (EDC)<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Best practices and innovation examples<\/strong> from the <strong>geosynthetics<\/strong> and <strong>insulation<\/strong> sectors were highlighted.<\/li>\n<li>The <strong>skills required for the transition towards a more sustainable and green construction industry<\/strong> were discussed.<\/li>\n<li>Contributions were made by <strong>institutional stakeholders<\/strong>, such as the <strong>Technical Chamber of Greece \u2013 TEE Thrace<\/strong> and <strong>PEDMEDE ECO<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The event concluded with <strong>an open discussion and exchange of views<\/strong>, laying the foundations for the <strong>next implementation phases and dissemination of the project results both in Greece and internationally<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-37165\" src=\"https:\/\/pedmede.gr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/Green-Circle-270625-Flyer-1.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"422\" height=\"597\" srcset=\"https:\/\/pedmede.gr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/Green-Circle-270625-Flyer-1.png 1414w, https:\/\/pedmede.gr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/Green-Circle-270625-Flyer-1-212x300.png 212w, https:\/\/pedmede.gr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/Green-Circle-270625-Flyer-1-724x1024.png 724w, https:\/\/pedmede.gr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/Green-Circle-270625-Flyer-1-768x1086.png 768w, https:\/\/pedmede.gr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/Green-Circle-270625-Flyer-1-1086x1536.png 1086w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 422px) 100vw, 422px\" \/><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>With great success, the informational event entitled \u201cMicro-Credentials in the Construction Sector: Shaping the Path Towards the Green Transition\u201d took place today, within the framework of the European project Green Circle, in which PEDMEDE is a key partner.
