A great success for PEDMEDE and the partners of the European Digi-CVET project, its distinction as an innovative and promising practice by UNESCO!<\/strong><\/p>\n

In the framework of the BILT (Bridging Innovation and Learning in TVET) project of the UNESCO International Centre for Technical and Vocational Education and Training (UNEVOC), the \u0395uropean project Digi-CVET,in which PEDMEDE paticipates, was recognised as one of the innovative learning practices that promotes the digitalisation in TVET.<\/p>\n

The BILT Expert Group on building and construction recognised Digi-CVET as an important initiative for shaping the future of skills and learning in TVET.<\/p>\n

Digi-CVET is a direct response to the changing needs in work life, where in the near future approximately 9 out of 10 jobs will require at least simple but up to advanced digital skills and competences according the factsheet\/ infographic \u201cThe Digital Skills Gap in Europe\u201d of the European Commission.<\/p>\n

The project aims to enhance the resilience of those working in construction by equipping them with wide-ranging digital competencies, while building a culture of continuing vocational education and training (CVET) in a lifelong learning process.<\/p>\n

The project partners hail from Germany (Bildungszentren des Baugewerbes e.V., Kr\u00f6pelin Projekt GmbH \/ Berlin), Italy (Scuola Costruzioni Vicenza Andrea Palladio), Belgium (Centre IFAPME), Slovenia (Chamber for Commerce and Industry) and Greece (PEDMEDE).<\/p>\n
