On June 23 the Final Conference of the CDWaste ManageVET Erasmus+ project took place in Corsica.
The CDWaste ManageVET project, that PEDMEDE is a partner and was launched in 2019 bringing together partners from France, Spain, Portugal, Romania, Italy, Greece and Spain, had as its main objective the promotion of professional training of the employees of the construction sector on the management of waste from excavations, demolitions and constructions, through an innovative training programme.
The conference presented both the progress and results of the national training programmes. Briefly, the main actions and achievements of this programme are: (1) the development of a manual, which reflects the current situation as well as the best practices in the field of training on the management of waste from excavations, demolitions and constructions;
(2) the creation of the training programme and the corresponding material for vocational education and training in the field of waste management;
(3) the development of an interactive e-learning platform (tele-training) hosting the training programme;
and finally(4) the pilot training of the employees of the company, which was carried out in the field of waste management.
