Strategies for attracting and including young and different gender in the construction sector was on the forefront of the agenda of the LET’s CAMPAIGN project partnership meeting.
Project partners from Greece (represented by PEDMEDE), Spain, Slovenia, Germany, Italy, Lithuania, Austria, Belgium were met at 24 and 25 of January both face 2 face (in Brussels) and online in order to exchange good practices for actions aiming at attracting young and women in the constructor sector. Several and common challenges and barriers identified, whereas it was stressed the emerging need for inclusion of these target groups in the sector!
Brainstorming session for discussing new ideas to attract and include different genders brought ideas for new initiatives to be promoted in project partner countries. By the next phase of the project, the promoted initiatives will be collected and shared in a best practice handbook for attracting and including young and women in the construction sector!
