The kick-off meeting for the European Erasmus+ Project: Job-Orientation-Better Fit, was successfully completed in Madrid, on November 21 & 22, with the participation of PEDMEDE.
The project Job-Orientation-Better Fit, aims to overcome skills mismatch in the construction industry, by improving the fit between career interests and actual jobs. To achieve this objective, the project focuses on improving career guidance, professionalising recruiting, and enhancing the onboarding phase. The emphasis is put on individualised support for new employees/trainees from the start, in order to address deficits, ensure a successful transition and prevent drop-outs in the construction industry.
During the meeting, project partners collaborated to plan and implement the next steps of the project.
